"Heartbreaker in the Desert" Brian & Mike are up 2 after two holes, and are looking good to get the Cup back. But a strong surge from the reigning champs turns that "2 up" to "3 down" by the 16th, and things are not looking good. However, the golf gods like to be involved, and somehow it comes down to all even on 18. Despite a disasterous tee shot from Mike, he and Brian, along with Matt, are on the green of this par 5 hole in 4, and looking at probable 2-putts while Dennis is 80 yards back taking a drop for his 4th, hitting 5 in to the green. Amazingly, Dennis HITS THE STICK, dropping 6 inches from the hole. Demoralized from D's incredible shot, neither Mike or Brian can convert their 20 footers, and the match ends all tied; champs retain.
Final scores: Dennis - 94, Matt - 104, Mike - 94, Brian - 100.
